Tahini & Date Protein Bars
Delicious and nutritious protein bars made with tahini, dates, and a hint of vanilla.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cashews
1/4 cup coconut flakes
1/2 serving Vivo Life Perform Plant Protein (Madagascan Vanilla)
1 cup pitted dates
2 tbsp tahini
pinch of salt
Method
Place the cashews, coconut flakes, vanilla perform and salt in a food processor and blend until finely chopped
Add the dates and tahini and blend further until the mixture starts to clump up
If needed, add 2-3 tbsp of water to help it come together
Shape the mixture into a large square, coat with a layer of extra coconut flakes pressing it down into the bar
Cut into quarters and store in an air tight container in the fridge.
