Spiced Raw Chocolate Truffles

Ever have those days where NOTHING but chocolate will do? We get it. It’s called being human.

If you’re having one of those days, why not whip up a batch of these Spiced Raw Chocolate Truffles? These silky smooth, melt in the mouth balls of goodness are perfect for when you fancy something a little indulgent.

Best of all, they’re 100% healthy too! Here’s how you make them…

Spiced Raw Chocolate Truffles

(Makes 12 truffles)


      6 medjool dates
      100g Almond Butter
      2tbsp Raw Cacao Powder + extra for coating
      1/2 tsp cinnamon
      1/4 tsp nutmeg
      1 tsp vanilla extract
      1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
      2 tbsp cacao nibs
      2 tbsp chia seeds
      2 tbsp desiccated coconut


      1) Add your dates to a food processor and blend until it makes a paste. Add in the almond butter and blitz again until smooth. Add 2 tbsp cacao powder, spices, salt and vanilla extract and blend once more.

      2) Transfer the mixture from your food processor into a mixing bowl. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, fold in the cacao nibs, chia seeds and coconut.

      3) Roll the mixture into balls using your fingers. Leave to set in the fridge for one hour.

      4) Roll the balls in a little extra cacao powder before serving. Enjoy!
